The Dwarf is an effect NPC found in Candle World. His appearance is of a colorful gnome carrying a sword, and his footsteps produce a sound effect that can be heard across all of Candle World. Following his predetermined path makes it easier to find the Checkered Tile Path, because he passes the purple pyramid which leads to it.
Interaction[]
Interacting with the Dwarf gives the player the Midget effect. He constantly runs to the east at the same speed that Madotsuki moves with the Bicycle effect, so he is tricky to catch without either the Stoplight effect. Though he is quite fast, Madotsuki can catch him with the Bicycle effect due to him occasionally moving north or south, as the world loops around continuously.
If the player blocks his path, he will simply stand still, making this the easiest way to catch him. He can be killed with the Knife effect and reacts normally to the Cat effect.
